Dally is an Italian HealthTech startup that’s reshaping how people manage diabetes through a mobile app and a web portal designed to support prevention and patient monitoring.
Dally’s app began as a passion project driven by the founders’ commitment to improving daily life for people with diabetes. However, as the platform grew, it needed to evolve — both technologically and in terms of user experience. The team aimed to rebuild the mobile app on a more stable and scalable foundation, while introducing a complementary web platform for healthcare professionals, clinics, and associations. The goal was to create a unified experience that would help doctors engage in prevention and better support their patients.
At Geckosoft, we worked closely with Dally’s team to reimagine their original insulin bolus calculator into a comprehensive digital ecosystem for managing and preventing metabolic diseases. From a design perspective, our focus was on crafting a seamless experience across mobile and web — human-centered, accessible, and data-driven. The new app integrates AI to deliver personalized insights based on real-world data such as diet, activity, and glucose levels, while the web platform empowers professionals to conduct screening tests, monitor patients remotely, and promote preventive care. Through this transformation, Dally has grown from a simple therapeutic support tool into a certified medical software solution, fostering a more conscious, collaborative, and innovative approach to metabolic health.
