Logo and identity for Affetti Da ONLUS. Gold Mention at CODE's 'Logo Against Alzheimer's' competition, judged by a jury including Milton Glaser and Milo Manara.

Affetti Da

Context

Year after year, a person affected by Alzheimer’s loses the capacity to stay focused, hold memories, and make even simple daily plans. Affetti Da is an ONLUS dedicated to research, psychological help, medical support, and awareness around the disease — and, just as importantly, to making sure no one fights it alone.

Concept

Memories get blurred, but there’s no pair of glasses that can refocus the mind’s shape.

The worst part of the illness isn’t only biological: year after year, people with Alzheimer’s are too often abandoned to fight an invisible war alone. The logo proposal for Affetti Da starts from that blurred point — where memories and help feel faded and faltering — and moves toward its opposite: a new hope for a sharper future. The mark visualizes this arc from blur to focus, standing for everything Affetti Da works to guarantee and spread through every possible medium: research, psychological support, medical care, awareness, and love.
