Orbis
Drag files, hold ⇧, drop them on a ring of actions.
The ring
What counts is the direction you move in, not your aim: head toward an action and it lights up. There is a dead zone in the middle, and leaving the ring lets the drag carry on as usual.
A second ring
Actions that need a choice open an arc beyond the ring: recent and favourite folders for Move, formats for Convert to. Every folder shows its full path, because folders love sharing names.
Nothing is ever lost
Orbis never overwrites a file: if a name is taken, the new file arrives as “name 2”. Every action can be undone for a few seconds, and the Trash keeps Finder’s Put Back.
No permissions
A drag is noticed by watching mouse events and the drag pasteboard, so Orbis asks for no Accessibility access, never goes online and sends no data anywhere.
